8-Days Photographic Safari Itinerary
An exciting 8-day photographic safari combines breathtaking scenery, abundant animals, and many cultural experiences. This route immerses you in the beauty of the African bush while passing through some of the most famous national parks in Kenya, providing plenty of opportunities to snap stunning photos.
Day 1: Getting to Nairobi, Kenya
When you arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), your safari guide will meet you and help you with your luggage before taking you to your Nairobi hotel. Make sure your photography equipment is prepared for the next adventure while taking some time to relax and recover from your travels. Afterwards, take a quick drive from the city center to Nairobi National Park after enjoying a small lunch at the hotel. A diverse range of animals, including as lions, rhinos, and giraffes, can be found in this unusual park, which is surrounded by the skyline of the city. Afterwards head back to the lodge, have dinner and discuss the highlights of the day and trade advice with other photographers. Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive at Masai Mara
Get up early to enjoy the beautiful morning light. Take a wildlife drive at dawn to witness the savannah's gentle golden light illumination. Proceed with your exploration of the Masai Mara after enjoying a picnic lunch in the wilderness. Day 8: Morning departure from Nairobi
Enjoy an early morning game drive on your final day to get any last-minute pictures of the animals. Use this time to think back on your trip and the pictures you took while on safari.
After breakfast, check out of the resort and make your way back to Nairobi (about 4 hours). If you have time, consider visiting the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to photograph orphaned elephants and learn about conservation efforts. Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departing flight. Take one more look at your stunning photos from the trip and treasure the memories of your African journey.
