Day Wise Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Nairobi

Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, your Sense of Adventure driver guide will warmly greet, welcome, and transfer you to Sarova Stanley Hotel, approximately 22km away, a journey of about 1 hour depending on traffic. After settling in, you'll receive a briefing for your upcoming African adventure. Enjoy an overnight stay in Standard rooms with Bed & Breakfast included.


Day 02: Nairobi to Buffalo Springs National Reserve

After breakfast, embark on your Kenyan safari journey. Your Sense of Adventure guide driver will pick you up and drive approximately 330km to Buffalo Springs National Reserve, which takes around 6.5 hours. Upon arrival at Ashnil Samburu Camp, check in, have lunch, and then enjoy an afternoon game drive. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.


Day 03: Exploration of Buffalo Springs National Reserve

Start your day with an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the camp. The mid-morning is at leisure, then enjoy lunch before heading out for another afternoon game drive. Explore the diverse wildlife of Samburu, including the unique species like gerenuk, grevy's zebra, beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and reticulated giraffe, along with other wildlife such as lions, elephants, and leopards. Return to Ashnil Samburu Camp for dinner and overnight.


Day 04: Samburu to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast, the journey is approximately 145km to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, which takes about 3.5 hours. Upon arrival at Sweetwaters Serena Camp, check in, have lunch, and enjoy an afternoon game drive. Ol Pejeta is known for its large black rhino population and rehabilitated chimpanzees, offering excellent opportunities for wildlife sightings. Have dinner and stay overnight in standard rooms.


Day 05: Ol Pejeta Conservancy to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, approximately 160km away, taking about 4.5 hours. En route, make a brief stop at Thompson Falls. Upon arrival at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge, check in, have lunch, and then embark on an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is renowned for its flamingos and diverse wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, and rhinos. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.


Day 06: Lake Nakuru National Park to Masai Mara National Reserve

Enjoy breakfast before driving approximately 270km to Masai Mara National Reserve, a journey of about 6 hours. Upon arrival at Emayian Luxury Camp, have lunch and embark on an afternoon game drive. Masai Mara is famous for its annual wildebeest migration and offers abundant wildlife sightings. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.


Day 07: Full-Day Exploration of Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, depart with a packed lunch for a full day of game drives in Masai Mara. Alternatively, you can opt for morning and afternoon game drives with a hot lunch at the lodge. Explore the diverse wildlife and landscapes of Masai Mara, including the 'Big Five' of Africa. Optionally, experience a cultural visit to a Masai village. Enjoy dinner and overnight at Emayian Luxury Camp.


Day 08: Masai Mara National Reserve to Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, depart with a packed lunch for an approximately 380km drive to Serengeti National Park, taking about 8 hours. Cross the border at Isebania/Sirari and continue to Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge. Enjoy en-route game drives and upon arrival, check-in for dinner and overnight stay.


Day 09: Exploration of Serengeti National Park

Start the day with breakfast and depart with a packed lunch for a full day of game drives in Serengeti National Park. Explore the vast plains and diverse wildlife, including the migratory wildebeests and other species such as lions, cheetahs, and giraffes. Enjoy dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge.


Day 10: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, depart with a packed lunch for an approximately 170km drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, taking about 4 hours. Enjoy morning game drives towards South Serengeti before exiting the park through Naabi gate. Proceed to Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge, located on the crater rim. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay.


Day 11: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Enjoy breakfast and depart with a packed lunch for a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for game drives. Explore the diverse wildlife of the crater floor, including zebras, buffaloes, elephants, and hyenas. Later, ascend from the crater floor and return to Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.


Day 12: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, approximately 180km away, taking about 4 hours. Enjoy game drives in the park, known for its large herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees. Check in at Tarangire Balloon Camp and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.


Day 13: Tarangire to Kilimanjaro International Airport

After breakfast, check out and depart with a packed lunch for an approximately 200km drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport, taking about 5 hours. Drive via Arusha and bid farewell to your Bonfire Adventures guide driver. Departure for your onward journey.
