Three generations, one safari: short flights, family suites, rhinos and camel rides in Laikipia and big cats in the Masai Mara.
Overview
A multigenerational fly-in safari brings grandparents, parents and children together without long drives. You fly between a family-friendly Laikipia conservancy and the Masai Mara, staying three nights in each, in camps with family suites, pools and children’s activities.
Laikipia offers rhinos, camel rides and guided walks; the Mara offers lions, cheetahs and elephants. With a private vehicle, the family can split up when needed, so grandparents can rest while children go tracking with the guide.
Best for: Family / luxury. Popular with: Grandparents travelling with children and grandchildren from the UK, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands and France. Best time: School holidays.
Price is from USD 4,400 per adult sharing; the final cost depends on season, accommodation and group size.
