Why plan your safari with Sense of Adventure?
Sense of Adventure is a Nairobi-based safari company licensed by Kenya’s Tourism Regulatory Authority. We plan and run private safaris across Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and Zanzibar for couples, families, friends and small groups from Europe, North America, India, Australia and beyond. Because we are on the ground in Kenya, we know which camps are worth the money this season, which roads have improved and when the herds are moving.
- Tailor-made, not off the shelf: every itinerary is built around your dates, interests and budget.
- Private vehicle as standard: your own 4×4 Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof, reclining seats and charging ports, and a window seat for everyone.
- Honest pricing: written quotes with every inclusion and exclusion listed, in USD.
- Safety first: experienced guides and complimentary AMREF Flying Doctors emergency evacuation cover on every safari.
- One team from first email to airport drop-off: no handover to a third party once you arrive.

Planning your safari: common questions
How quickly will I receive my safari quote?
Within 24 hours, Monday to Saturday. Enquiries sent on Sunday are answered on Monday morning East Africa Time. For an urgent trip, message us on WhatsApp at +254 799 160 081.
Is the quote free and without obligation?
Yes. Planning and quoting are free, and you can revise the itinerary as many times as you need before deciding to book.
What if I do not know my dates or budget yet?
Choose the flexible or not sure options in the form and tell us roughly what you have in mind. We will suggest the best months for what you want to see and give you price guidance for different accommodation levels.
How far in advance should I enquire?
For July to October Great Migration dates and the Christmas period, 6 to 12 months ahead gives you the best camp choice. For other months, 2 to 4 months is usually enough, and we can often arrange last-minute safaris too.
How do I pay and is my booking secure?
A deposit confirms your safari and the balance is due before travel. We are a licensed Kenyan tour operator and provide written confirmations for every booking. Payment options and timelines are explained in your quote.
Do you also plan safaris in Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda?
Yes. We plan combined East Africa itineraries including the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, gorilla trekking in Uganda or Rwanda, and beach extensions to Diani or Zanzibar.
